As we prepare to turn the calendar page, we take a look at some of the upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch in February.
I know, I know, we’re all eagerly awaiting the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in March. But before we head off on our vacation, there are a few games worth keeping an eye on for the Nintendo Switch in February.
Kicking things off next month is The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, based on the Netflix series which is a prequel to the 1982 Jim Henson film, The Dark Crystal. I haven’t seen the series, but I’m a huge fan of strategy tactics games, so I’m personally looking forward to this one.
Another game probably on peoples’ radar is Persona 5 Scramble. Developed by Omega Force and P-Studio, Persona 5 Scramble is a crossover between Koei Tecmo’s hack-and-slash Dynasty Warriors and Atlus’s RPG series Persona. The game is set six months after the events of Persona 5.
Nintendo Switch owners can also expect the usual influx of re-mastered or re-released games. Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition is an enhanced version of the 2005 hack-n-slash with gameplay improvements, rebalanced game difficulty and additional content. Metro Reduxis a compilation package that includes remastered versions of both Metro: 2033 and its sequel Metro: Last Light, 4A Games and Deep Silver’s post-apocalyptic first-person shooter franchise. There’s also Rune Factory 4 Special, another enhanced version of the role-playing game originally released for the Nintendo 3DS.
