We use Madden 20 to simulate Saturday’s slate of NFL Wild Card playoff games to determine the winners between the Vikings-Saints and Seahawks-Eagles.

The second half of the 2020 NFL playoff Wild Card weekend wraps up today with four NFC teams duking it out in a pair of afternoon games. Once again, we’re ignoring our original Madden 20 simulation from the beginning of the year, which was completely off in its prediction, and instead simulating each individual round of the playoffs with the teams that actually advance in real life.

Madden didn’t fare so well in Saturday’s games, going 0-2 in its predictions. Both the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans advanced on the AFC Division round.

Now we turn our attention towards Sunday’s slate of games as the Minnesota Vikings travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints and the Seattle Seahawks battle with their fellow birds over in Philadelphia.

Despite a 13-3 season in the regular season, the Saints find themselves in the Wild Card game due to the NFL’s tiebreaker system. Meanwhile, the Seahawks (11-5), who actually finished with a better regular-season record than the Eagles (9-7), find themselves on the road because Philadelphia had the benefit of playing in the weak NFC East and winning their division.

So who does Madden think will move on to the NFC Division round? Let’s find out!
