The Epic Games Store’s holiday sale for 2019 has begun and will end on January 1, 2020. In addition to discounts on games and coupons, users will also get 12 days of free games.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and the Epic Games Store is about to make it even more holly and jolly than it already is with their first-ever holiday sale. From now (December 19, 2019 at 11am EST) until January 1, 2020 11am EST, the Epic Games Store is featuring discounts on popular games, $10 Epic Coupons, and 12 days of free games.
It all starts when you login to your Epic Games account. Upon doing so, you’ll receive a $10 Epic Coupon. When you use this coupon on eligible games of $14.99 or above, it’ll be applied automatically at checkout. After buying an eligible game with this coupon, you’ll be giving another $10 Epic Coupon. That will happen after every eligible purchase with the coupons. It’s worth noting that these eligible purchases do not include pre-orders, in-game purchases, DLC and season passes.
If you aren’t looking to spend any money, Epic Games Store is also having 12 days of free game. Every day from December 19 to January 1, Epic Games Store will have a new free game for you to claim. The first free game is Into the Breach (which I played on Nintendo Switch and highly recommend), and it’s available for free until December 20 at 11am.
Finally, there are a ton of great games available for up to 75% off (though some newer more popular games are between 15% – 33% off). Popular games on sale include:
- Borderlands 3 – $38.99 (35% discount)
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – $49.79 (17% discount)
- Control – $40.19 (33% discount)
- The Outer Worlds – $44.99 (25% discount)
There are some cheaper games available like John Wick Hex ($16.99), Hades ($19.99) and Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered ($14.99). Unfortunately, I wanted to pick up Outer Wilds and it’s not discounted for this sale.
So remember to get some free games by visiting the Epic Games Store everyday, and make sure to enjoy some awesome games throughout the holiday season.
