The industry heavyweight BenQ ZOWIE has announced a collaboration with PUBG for its largest event of the year, the PUBG Global Championship.
BenQ’s ZOWIE and PUBG have continued their partnership following a successful event at the PUBG Nations Cup 2019 and has now been announced at the Official Monitor of the PUBG Global Championship – the company’s largest event to date.
Being used exclusively by the players participating in the tournament, BenQ’s ZOWIE XL2546 is going to provide PUBG’s best with the highest standard technology and smoothest-ever experience in a competitive setting.
Under the terms of this partnership, the ZOWIE XL2546 monitor will be used solely by the players in the tournament for an “immersive esports experience”. The partnership was brokered by Lagardère Sports, the exclusive sponsorship rights agent for PUBG’s Nations Cup and Global Championship.
“We are very glad to have BenQ as our exclusive monitor sponsor again,” said Julian Schwartz, Central Esports Business Development Manager for PUBG Corporation. “The PUBG Global Championship is the most important event of the year for us, so we needed to have one of the best monitors on the market for our game live on stage. This is why we chose the professional-grade products in the BenQ ZOWIE XL Series for the best PUBG players in the world to play on.”
Showcasing an impressive native 240Hz refresh rate to present a perfect image of fast-motion gameplay, the ZOWIE XL2546 esports gaming monitor also comes equipped with two features PUBG players highly favor, the Black eQualizer and Color Vibrance. These features assist players with spotting enemies as well as adjust their monitor’s image to their personal preference.
The PUBG Global Championship will kick off this weekend beginning on Friday, November 8 in Los Angeles at the OGN Super Arena. The opening weekend will play host to the group stage, where 32 of the world’s very best PUBG teams compete in hopes of advancing into the semi-finals on November 15-17.
The top sixteen teams following the semi-finals will collide inside Oakland Arena on November 23 – 24 for the Grand Finals, where one team will take home the US $2,000,000 prize and be crowned as the best in PUBG Esports.
