PC Gaming Show: E3 2018 edition returns on June 11
For the fourth straight year, PC Gamer will team up with the hottest PC developers to bring you the PC Gaming Show for E3 2018 later in June.
Preparation for E3 2018 (or E3 “insert year here”) is always a nightmare. With EA Play continuing to push the boundaries of what “E3 Week” actually is, emails are already starting to be sent out in preparation for the conferences, appointments for the E3 2018 showroom floor, events outside of the LA Convention Center and other meetings. We just so happened to be looking through old emails and stumbled upon news for PC Gaming Show.
Per the PC Gaming Show website, the show will return once more on Monday, June 11 at 3 p.m. PT. However, instead of its previous location at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, this year’s show will take place from The Wiltern, upgrading the 22-minute walk from the Los Angeles Convention Center to a 70-minute one to Koreatown.
Thankfully, perpetually excellent host Sean “Day[9]” Plott will return once again as host of the show, helping to corral an ongoing list of developers and publishers hoping to keep audiences entertained on the products to come. This year’s theme is “See the future of PC gaming,” after all, and with Oculus, Predator, Improbable (SpatialOS creators) plus Stardock sponsoring the show, perhaps we will see some breakthrough technology on display.
“Exclusive announcements, trailers and discussions from many of the most exciting developers and projects on the platform on the horizon” is what you should expect from the PC Gaming Show for E3 2018.
Amidst all of the heavy dubstep, large auditoriums, moment-to-moment game trailers and fast-paced announcements, the PC Gaming Show always makes sure to chat with the developers to establish their love for the PC platform and what they’re working on. There are a ton of neat surprises that come from this conference, so hopefully, we get to see an expanded view of what it is to be a PC enthusiast now and into the future.
