Now iOS Users Can Use Google's Photo Sphere Too

Google’s Photo Sphere Camera app is one that has the whole “truth in naming” thing going for it. Put simply, it allows you to take 360-degree panoramic pictures that don’t look the way you’d normally expect those kinds of images to look.

That’s meant as a compliment for Photo Sphere, by the way. Except for the fact that people might look at you a little strange as you hold your phone close to your face and spin around to capture the images, the app makes it easy enough for even non-photographers like me to pull off some cool visual tricks.

Besides, now that Photo Sphere Camera is available on the iOS App Store (it’s always been in the standard Android camera software), more people might understand what you’re doing anyway and not just thinking that you’re extremely nearsighted. Grab it for free, connect the dots and start taking a more panoramic view of the world around you.

And if you still don’t know what I’m going on about, check out this handy video from Google that explains how it works.
