Kim Kardashian has been knocked her throne. Have no fear, as Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is still doing just fine, coming in at number three on App Annie’s iOS Top App Chart this week and placing fifth in the top-grossing rankings. But there’s a new game claiming top download status, and it’s one that asks players to “make all the dudes jump over the obstacles at the same time.”
Yep, it’s called Make Them Jump, and as truth in titles goes, it’s right up there. Its description in the App Store is written in not quite correct English, so … (shrugs shoulders).
The top paid app on iOS this week is Heads Up! from Warner Bros., a game that’s been getting its fair share of mainstream media attention, while ever-present Clash of Clans is tops among revenue earners.
Supercell’s smash hit is also raking it in on Android, maintaining its top-grossing number one spot on the Android charts. Free downloads continue to trend toward non-game apps on Google Play, with Facebook, Pandora, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and the always popular Super-Bright LED Flashlight app in first through fifth place.
One paid app to watch is Guardians of the Galaxy: The Universal Weapon, which should get a boost from the Marvel movie hitting theaters later this week.
